Every month, one of our staff will pick a game*. Then we’ll invite everyone who wants to be in The Club to download and play that game on Steam. We’ll all spend the month playing the chosen game, learning it’s ins-and-outs, and having a shared experience of play. At the end of each month, we’ll gather some of our best thoughts, experiences, and maybe even critiques of the game and post them here to this website. We’ll also invite everyone who played along with us to join the conversation and send in their impressions of the game of the month.

This month, we’ll be playing Everything from David OReilly and Double Fine Presents.

How to Participate

  1. Download Everything to your Steam client. (If you don’t have a free Steam account, you can create one here. Note: you’ll still have to purchase the game once you’ve got your account set up.)
  2.  Spend the month playing the game. Take some notes. Maybe even record your favorite parts and post them on YouTube. Mostly, just think about what you like/don’t like about the game, how it makes you feel, what it does best, and what you wish it did better.
  3. At the end of the month, check back here to see our responses to the game. Submit your own response in the comments below our new post. Feel free to submit links to yourself playing or talking about the game.
